BRIONES PARK

Pictured below: some of the 245 trees cut down in Briones Regional Park in the summer of 2019. These trees were destroyed by East Bay Regional Park and PG&E in exchange for $255,000, despite public protest and without any justification. While some trees have already started regrowing, many others were laced with herbicides and remain a sad legacy to the unfortunate decisions of PG&E and our parks district.

Our open letter to EBRPD General Manager, Robert Doyle is here.
